Rutgers University (MFA)
Small sampling of designs for classroom and paper projects from my time at Rutgers University. (More descriptions can be found when viewing the renderings themselves)
"Hello Hermann Hesse"- Worked with choreographer and owner of 10 Hairy Legs , Randy James in small design groups to design for a new dance piece entitled "Hello Hermann Hesse"
"Arsenic and Old Lace"-Worked with director Michole Biancosino in small design groups to design the show. Our group was inspired by the Gashlycrumb Tinies created by Edward Gorey as well as the many door chase scenes from Scooby Doo. The inspirations, like the show, are cooky and fun, but on further inspection something sinister lurks beneath.
"The Crucible"- Worked with director Michole Biancosino in small design groups to design an "abstract design" for the show. Our group set our version of Salem in a futuristic dystopia and pulled imagery and vocabulary from Margret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale.
